Sadly, my buddy and fellow Been'er Brother, Ed Smith, passed away in the early hours of July 15, 2006 at a Bellingham care facility. He was only 58, but succumbed to lung cancer from his many years of smoking.
If you were one of the many friends of Ed Smith, you may have come to the memorial event that celebrated his life and times held at Rangerville on Friday, July 21, 2006.
The memorial was an opportunity for all whose lives Ed touched to come together in a circle of remembrance and friendship.
Many thanks to Belinda, who took on the task of being photographer of the event. These are the 300+ photos that she took of the event. She took so many that they're split them up into six separate sections. As information for those chronologically minded souls among us, Group one does mark the start of the pics and then they get later as you go on toward Group six.
Thanks again to all who helped us in getting ready for Ed's party on such short notice. You know who you are. Wasn't it great to see everybody, and to see everybody seeing everybody, and to...?!
Long live the memory of Ed Smith. Been'er.
